At this week’s meeting of the Audit & Finance Commission, while discussing the credits to residents retroactively charged for water usage at the rate increased on September 18th, it was suggested that the environmental impact fee for garbage collection be taken off the quarterly water billing and possibly be added as a percentage of one’s property taxes.
What’s your view of this suggestion?

Thought maybe it was time I started up some “regular features” on the blog. You all get to read my view all week long … (although you do have the opportunity to comment on — even disagree with — my view in every posting) …
But, I thought it might be nice to start up a regular weekend segment called “What’s your view?” The basic idea is that I’ll ask for your view on something, instead of throwing my $0.02 in first. That doesn’t mean that I won’t throw it in somewhere down in the comments or in a future posting … but I will give you the chance to put in your $0.02 first on these threads.
