The Courier-News published a Speak-Out today. I would phone one of my own in, but numerous people have told me that the Courier-News is declining publication of almost anything that they deem too critical of Paul Humpfer. Most recent case in point is the letter to the editor of Nate Spain, which the Courier News “declined to publish” ( which the Daily Herald did print, with editing that changed some of the context and made it less critical).
A request to Courier-News Viewpoint Editor, Nick Petersen, for the reason that they “decline to publish [Spain’s] submission” received no reply.
So much for “free speech” at the Courier-News.
Settle this like men: I’d like to comment on this Carpentersville (situation involving) Trustee Paul Humpfer and (Village President) Bill Sarto. Sarto has had it in for Humpfer ever since the illegal immigration thing started months ago in Carpentersville. Sarto is just against Humpfer because of his stance on illegal immigration, which Humpfer is 100 percent right. I wish they would go out in an alley and just duke it out like men. I bet Humpfer would kick his butt.
Well I doubt Humpfer would “kick his butt”. Sarto is a man. Humpfer only beats up on women — specifically his wife … and last time he had to use a baseball bat even to do that.
And again, here we see, “Sarto is just against Humpfer because of his stance on illegal immigration”.
Another comment that acts like Humpfer’s criminal conviction for domestic battery is no big deal.
