Over the past several days, I’ve been trying to find out more about what really went on “behind-the-scenes” of Autumn Fest.
But, despite having received a good deal of information, I began to wonder something … if more time was taken to get to the bottom of this, what should the consequences be?
I mean, how serious is this, really, in the context of everything going on in the Village?
So what that the Trustees didn’t get official invites in their packets?! Perhaps in the future there should be no expectation to either send or receive written invites to such events. After all, the Board was made aware of the event, given specific details about the event, and it was a Village coordinated event. Hopefully eliminating written invites in the future, we can make sure that no one’s feelings get hurt if there is misunderstandings or miscues that occur.
And, is it really a big deal that Trustees Sigwalt and Teeter participated in the parade, but didn’t pay the $10 participant fee?
Community pride and desire to be involved should have compelled everyone on the Board to participate appropriately. That some didn’t speaks more about their true feelings, but do any of these things require disciplinary action? Nope.
So what the heck is the Board doing wasting more time at meetings arguing about it?
The same goes for this talk of disciplinary action over private conversations. One should wonder what Trustee Sigwalt’s plan is to monitor all conversations — emails, phone calls, letters, or even conversations around the dinner table — of the Village President and the Trustees; or any of the Village staff for that matter? But, the idea is so preposterous that it shouldn’t be raised again.
Now, let’s start dealing with the real business of the Village!

Not only is the idea preposterous, its hypocritical; especially considering that Judy Sigwalt herself put me on her bulk email list and repeatedly sent over immigration scare stories, where I debunked to her with proof that they were all hoaxes. (She had promised the first time not to send more of them out, but had a reckless disregard for the facts, at best.) By Judy’s own plan, she herself would be censured for her “private emails.”

Yeah! More intelligent posts from Frank Stoneham!
Sorry this site can’t be more to your level of discussion, Frank.
For the record, it should be noted that Mr Stoneham is good friends with Trustee Sigwalt. As recorded at the meeting of September 4th:
As stated in the main article, the time has come to dispense with the kind of garbage that’s gone on in the Village, such as the attitude and comments of Mr. Stoneham. It is time to get on with Village business. There are Trustees on the Board that have made illegal immigration the business of the Village. They have done so without providing the residents much of anything beyond the everyday rhetoric that is spouted ad nauseum. The information provided in another article that was posted today is something that should, for many reasons, be of interest to those in the Village who have followed and participated in the illegal immigration debate. Of course, some would like it not to be talked about in this way — because it is not just the same rhetoric that is tossed around, but rather demonstrates some of the complexity of the matter which are certainly beyond the scope addressable by local governments.
At such a time as they would be presented, I would welcome any suggestions that Mr Stoneham could provide as to how the Village of Carpentersville in particular should address the array of issues put forth in that article, if he in fact disagrees with the assessment.

Let’s get something straight with your anonymous rantings.
Trustee Judy Sigwalt made those comments from her trustee report. Yes, I did walk with her through the flooded areas of Carpentersville and Lake Marion. This was after she and the Radkes called us and wanted the same tour of the flooded areas that we gave trustee Teeter. We called on trustee Teeter, since she belongs on the Kane County Stormwater Management. What we did was to show where we thought the problems originated and the lack of stormwater retention areas to control and slow down the flooding in areas that were effected.
My anymous friend, you really don’t know [personally] about my relationships past or present with the Village President and trustees of Carpentersville. You get second and third hand knowledge from the likes of Bill Sarto and his cohorts. I have a sort of love/hate relationship with our trustees. I have had a number of strong disagreements on several issues, whether that has to do with Fox Valley Citizens For Legal Immigration or issues effecting Carpentersville.
You have shown yourself as merely as a shadow of our Village President Bill Sarto. Your site has become a political arm of the Dundee Township Democratic Party.

I wonder why you’d say that, Frank, about what’s been posted on this site?
I’ve said from the beginning … if you think this site is biased, then give me the info. The “other side” doesn’t seem to have a problem with doing that.
Maybe its just that there is something to hide, and you guys need to be able to get some dirt on people so that you can control them in case too much information gets out?
BTW, as I said on the other thread … further comments not related to the topic will be removed. I do not want the blog cluttered with such junk.

My anonymous friend, everytime I try to respond with “facts” about your partisan website….you hit the delete button.
I don’t blame you though….nope….you can’t defend……the……undefendable.

Frank, I’ve seen nothing of “fact” in any of your comments. Why don’t you try really doing it instead of attacking the commentors.
So, if you don’t like what is written you go after the writer? An example would be – A + B = C, but it would seem that you start attacking A for being first in the list of values….That is not fact when and where I went to school.
My parents brought me up to discuss ideas and treat people with courtesy and respect. Its interesting when people get together and really discuss and listen to the other.
