Ok, I just had to post this because I just can’t believe it! In a government of dim-bulbs, I’m having trouble finding any who I could call the brightest!

So the illegal immigration thing is back on the table for the August 7th Board meeting. Sarto and Ramirez-Sliwinski apparently are responsible for putting it on the table. One word: Stupid!

Sigwalt, Humpfer and Hinz aren’t going to ever let this go away until there is an impression among their supporters that they actually did something. Despite what Ken Hinz says in the paper, this is the only issue they ran on and the only issue they are working on. Among the dim-bulbs, these three are the dimmest.

But, Sarto and Ramirez-Sliwinski aren’t above criticism. This isn’t their fight. It isn’t their issue to raise or drop. They need to let the others hang themselves. They certainly have enough rope!

I’ll have a more in-depth analysis next week, but I just had to say how stupid all of this is.

In the meantime, Ray Quintanilla writes in the Chicago Tribune today about how the East is dying because of the actions of Sigwalt (and Humpfer) and the illegal immigration ordinance. But, ya know, continuing to bring it up ain’t helping matters either.
