At a Glance
Something that I’ve observed about the comments made on this blog – It’s all about attacking people and nothing about the things this community needs or wants. It is just like they say – small minds talk about people, while the intellegent people talk about ideas.
How do we get things done? How do we move the Village forward? How can we get more businesses to move into the Village and provide tax revenues that will help the Village to grow? All around us, the other towns are busting out – growing so fast you can hardly keep up with what’s happening but not Carpentersville. What can we do to build a strong community that will bring in new jobs and help with the tax burden? Taxes had to be raised on Gasoline to help get the roads repaired. If more businesses were coming into town, we would see an increased tax base and the lowering of taxes here. Let’s have our Trustees explain their ideas and show us the work they are doing to improve our Village.
