From the looks of some of the discussion happening on Carpentersville news threads around the web, it seems that the call to “leave the Humpfer situation to the courts, and get back to Village business” means “let’s get back to talking about illegal immigration”.

Anti-illegal immigration activists cited that the reason Paul Humpfer was been maligned had nothing to do with his domestic battery convictions, but rather his stance on illegal immigration. After telling those who thought Humpfer’s conviction for domestic battery made him ineligible to hold office to “get back to Village business”, the focus of discussions returned to illegal immigration actions.

For 2 years, public comment at Village Board meetings has mostly involved illegal immigration and comments critical of members of the Board, most especially President Bill Sarto and Linda Ramirez-Sliwinski. (Lack of ideas presented on the recent “discussion thread” regarding improvements for the Village seem to mirror the general lack of ideas presented at Board meetings.)

However … is illegal immigration really the panacea for Carpentersville that it is being made out to be? Is illegal immigration really the most important issue facing the Village? And, if not, then why is such talk dominating everything?

I would say that those who continue to raise the issue of illegal immigration are doing so because of a genuine lack of anything substantially positive to offer the residents of Carpentersville.

In our history, there have been times when men and women have been called to fight in order that our rights, freedoms and liberties be secured. In those fights, there are those who have given everything for us.

It is because of their sacrifice that we may live our lives as we choose, with limitations only insofar as they relate to the greater, common good.

We enjoy a level of freedom that is unsurpassed anywhere in the World.

Let us take time today to recall not only the men and women who help ensure that those rights and freedoms are not lost, but also the very freedoms that were long ago dreamed, sought and realized …

Langston Hughes wrote, in “Freedom’s Plow”…

With billowing sails the galleons came
Bringing men and dreams, women and dreams.
In little bands together,
Heart reaching out to heart,
Hand reaching out to hand,
They began to build our land.
Some were free hands
Seeking a greater freedom,
Some were indentured hands
Hoping to find their freedom,
Some were slave hands
Guarding in their hearts the seed of freedom,
But the word was there always:
Freedom.

Down into the earth went the plow
In the free hands and the slave hands,
In indentured hands and adventurous hands,
Turning the rich soil went the plow in many hands
That planted and harvested the food that fed
And the cotton that clothed America.
Clang against the trees went the ax into many hands
That hewed and shaped the rooftops of America.
Splash into the rivers and the seas went the boat-hulls
That moved and transported America.
Crack went the whips that drove the horses
Across the plains of America.
Free hands and slave hands,
Indentured hands, adventurous hands,
White hands and black hands
Held the plow handles,
Ax handles, hammer handles,
Launched the boats and whipped the horses
That fed and housed and moved America.
Thus together through labor,
All these hands made America.

[...]

America is a dream.
The poet says it was promises.
The people say it is promises-that will come true.
The people do not always say things out loud,
Nor write them down on paper.
The people often hold
Great thoughts in their deepest hearts
And sometimes only blunderingly express them,
Haltingly and stumblingly say them,
And faultily put them into practice.
The people do not always understand each other.
But there is, somewhere there,
Always the trying to understand,
And the trying to say,
“You are a man. Together we are building our land.”

America!
Land created in common,
Dream nourished in common,
Keep your hand on the plow! Hold on!
If the house is not yet finished,
Don’t be discouraged, builder!
If the fight is not yet won,
Don’t be weary, soldier!
The plan and the pattern is here,
Woven from the beginning
Into the warp and woof of America:
ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL.
NO MAN IS GOOD ENOUGH
TO GOVERN ANOTHER MAN
WITHOUT HIS CONSENT.
BETTER DIE FREE,
THAN TO LIVE SLAVES.
Who said those things? Americans!
Who owns those words? America!
Who is America? You, me!
We are America!
To the enemy who would conquer us from without,
We say, NO!
To the enemy who would divide
And conquer us from within,
We say, NO!
FREEDOM!
BROTHERHOOD!
DEMOCRACY!
To all the enemies of these great words:
We say, NO!

Discuss:  What are your ideas about how to improve the economy, infrastructure, image, etc of Carpentersville?

Those of you who read the articles on the Daily Herald website may have noticed an alias “Chrissypiss”. The person behind those posts, in case its not obvious, is not affiliated with this blog.

The tactics employed (along with the misspellings of elected officials names) appear to be the work of Grant Crowell.

Mr. Crowell has used tactics that are considered unethical (and some uses of them are actually illegal) in order to obtain information about who is behind this website, so that he can fulfill some hero-fantasy that he has.

Posting as under a pseudonym similar to mine is not the first fraudulent action that Mr Crowell has engaged in. Previously, he created multiple email addresses that were “one-off” from myself and of Village President Bill Sarto.

In communications where he pretended to be Village President Sarto — using email address “ws1114″ instead of “wrs1114″ — Mr Crowell contacted the husband of a member of the Audit & Finance Commission. In that fraudulent email communication, Mr. Crowell’s IP address was found as the “X-Originating-IP” in the headers of a third email address he used to provide a “gotcha” message to Sarto. Mr. Crowell, posting under his own name, has also republished to other venues the information that he alleges he discovered about the identity of the person behind this blog. All of which is false.

As an added twist to this … the email sent saying “It was just a matter of time before we unmasked your anonymous blogger…”, “He’s committed libel and you’ve supported him” and “You can bet we’ll have an attorney to sue you both”, was signed “Sonia Fueller, Fox Valley Citizens for Legal Immigration”.

Despite being told to cease and desist from any further naming of the innocent resident to whom Mr. Crowell falsely represented himself, he has continued … as he has alluded to even in comments as recently as today.

A few months later, an email exchange employing a similar tactic was sent to resident Paul Calusinski, asking Calusinski to read a statement at the Village Board meeting that was supposed to have come from me. That exchange used an email address of “cvilecan” instead of cvillecan”. Fortunately, that attempt was thwarted before the statement was read to the Board.

Mr. Crowell’s own failed attempts to get the People of Carpentersville and the Village Board to fall down and worship him, his failed attempts to get community involvement and action against the corruption in Village government, and his latest failed attempt to discover the author of this blog all serve as motive.

Good morning, Carpentersville!

I want to start off today by addressing comments out there that seek to impugn what’s written on this blog as “love letters to Sarto”. Is that the best they can do to try to smear this site? Readers know that this site is filled with a large volume of information — much of it corroborated, whether by the media, Board meeting minutes, or other sources. None of it refuted.

Heck, most of it ended up being admitted to by the parties to the transgressions.

Why hasn’t it been refuted? Because they can’t. Every thing that has been reported on this site is true and backed up by facts.

Readers know this. They see it. It’s the reason why there are not refuting comments (only the occasion sling of mud from some of the usual suspects that you’ve come to know.) If the information on this website were not true, they would be showing the evidence against it; even more people would be commenting here showing these things to be wrong. (And its not for lack of traffic … the last 30 days have had approximately 7,000 views by nearly 4,000 unique visitors. By next week, traffic since mid-July 2007 will have topped 60,000. )

That they have not refuted the information is good reason to believe that they can not.

“The issue today is the same as it has been throughout all history, whether man shall be allowed to govern himself or be ruled by a small elite.”
– Thomas Jefferson

That is truly what Carpentersville is facing. Meetings of this “elite”, albeit self-proclaimed, had been occurring in Village meeting rooms … and they continue to occur, at private residences … and even the “gang of five” (as they have now so been dubbed) meeting at restaurants together.

The “elite” conspire to smear those who would call them out for their actions … like they have tried with this site, and with Sarto, and with others — the latest being Nate Spain, who has done much good and is reportedly well-regarded by those on the Fire Pension Board.

After Spain objected to the continued presence of Paul Humpfer on the Board (and the Audit & Finance Commission), since Humpfer had been convicted of domestic battery, the “small elite” began a smear campaign against Spain, even spreading lies and misinformation about him. As they do to any residents who wish to speak out — as they did initially to Sherry Dobson and Mike Sievertson, until they backed down.

This is a regime of intimidation and threats, as folks should see is becoming clearer and clearer. That is the reasoning behind the citation issued to Trustee Linda Ramirez-Sliwinski, as well.

Unable to find anything else that will “stick” to Sarto, they have now turned to calling out his “rants” and “lectures”. It would be easy for Sarto to simply shut up and take that angle away from them. But, I believe that would be doing precisely what they want him to do: be quiet, so their illegal and unethical behavior can fade back into the shadows.

I’ve been thinking on some of the comments that have appeared on some news sites from those opposing Sarto’s “rants” and “lectures”, specifically on the crimes of Paul Humpfer. There are some that just seem a bit foolish. Specifically, it is those that say things like “I don’t condone what Paul Humpfer did but…” and then go on to throw mud at Sarto for being persistent in his condemnation of Humpfer’s crimes.

I have no doubt that Sarto has heard from many who have told him they support what he’s doing and can’t understand why Humpfer — now a convicted criminal — is still on the Board. I don’t doubt it because I have heard the very same, without exception. Unfortunately, because of the intimidation and fear (mixed with some personal insecurity about not being a “good public speaker” or writer) these people don’t want to come to Board meetings to speak out about their outrage. They ask others to do it for them. And still nothing gets done about the problems.

One comment said: I am outraged with the actions of Trustee Humpher. I stated earlier, his actions are indefensible. But you [Sarto] just do not get the fact that your [Sarto's] actions are equally damaging to Carpentersville. Stop. Get back to business.

In other words, Paul Humpfer’s criminal acts are “indefensible” and worthy of “outrage”, but nothing should be done about them. The Board should just go about business as usual, as though nothing happened.

I completely disagree with the commenter’s assessment. If anything, Sarto’s “rants” and “lectures” should provide some hope that Carpentersville is not really the bastion of criminal activity and government corruption that the presence of Humpfer (and Sigwalt and the “elite”) have said it is (especially when they pass an ordinance that says that domestic battery is acceptable behavior.)

In fact, I would venture to say that the “gang of five” have hurled Carpentersville into achieving that very reputation.

That’s what some supporters are saying about Paul Humpfer’s crime:  People are inserting themselves into Mr. Humpfer’s private life.

Mr. Humpfer’s criminal conviction is not private.  It is part of the public record.

Perhaps if Mr. Humpfer would have written sexy love notes to a staffer [Detroit mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick], or hired an “escort”[NY Governor, Eliot Spitzer], or bumped another man’s foot in the bathroom stall [US Senator, Larry Craig], instead of using a baseball bat to attack his wife, maybe then more people would be outraged.

In those cases other than Mr. Humpfer’s, there was either a resignation, or public outrage that called for resignation/removal.

But, there is a difference between those and Mr. Humpfer’s … Mr. Humpfer was convicted.  Two of the above haven’t been convicted of any charges against them.  And, one wasn’t even charged with anything.

It’s good to know that being convicted of a crime is a “private matter”.  It’s good to know that domestic abuse is a “private matter”.  An estimated 3 million women who are battered and abused will be glad to know that.  The families of the more than 1,000 women each year who are murdered by their husbands will be glad to know that their daughters or sisters, aunts or cousins, died because people knew domestic abuse was occurring and did nothing to prevent it.

That shooting last night at Fox View was likely “a private matter” too.  I hope they don’t arrest anyone.

Just let it go.

As I was searching for Carpentersville related items … I came across a new blog, apparently started by Village President Sarto, called “About Carpentersville”.

Part of the introductory posting says: “I’ve decided that it’s time to keep our residents informed of what is happening outside of the political squabbles that have been going on for far too long. The public has a right to know what is happening in the Village.”

It doesn’t look like there is much there yet, but hopefully, he will get to regular posting of articles to inform residents of things being worked on in the Village.

“This site is dedicated to providing you with the best possible news and events that are taking place in our Village. My goal is to keep you informed of all happenings that are pending. I want you to know the good things that continue to go on in Carpentersville.”

Here’s to hoping…

We wanted to take a minute and let you know that this Thursday we will be meeting @ 6pm to “Pound The Pavement” for a few hours.

Any help anyone can provide would be fantastic!

As we spoke of before, we need all the extra hands we can get. We need to have at least 1,000 signatures on the Blue cards before our next meeting on 5/27/08.

So, if you are able to spare a few hours, we would greatly appreciate it.
As you know the town of Dundee is pretty big to cover with only 10 people.

Although we have gone out for a few hours almost every day since the hearing, we only have about 250 signatures thus far.

Please let us know if you are able to join us and I will notify you of the location to meet us.

Again, we appreciate all of your help and support.

**If you know of anyone that has not filled out a blue card and that is against Walmart, please have them contact

After hearing — and denying — a motion for a new trial, Judge James Hallock scheduled Trustee Paul Humpfer to be sentenced on June 19. The sentencing will come more than 3 months after Humpfer was found guilty of attacking his wife with a baseball bat during a domestic dispute.

Humpfer attorney, Van Richards, requested a new trial, in part, because he said some testimony was not considered strongly enough by Hallock; namely that of Humpfer’s 8-year-old son, who was present when the incident took place. (Illinois law also considers the crime as committed “in the presence of a child”, which makes the lesser charge even more problematic because a charge of aggravated domestic battery — as it should have been — would then have carried an automatic, minimum 10 day jail sentence, 300 hours community service, or both simply because it was committed in his son’s presence).

Further, according to the American Bar Association, “the testimony of young children is viewed more skeptically … than that of adults, because of concerns over suggestibility, manipulation, coaching, or confusing fact with fantasy.”

Humpfer’s attorney also said that because the Judge attended the same high school as President Bill Sarto (although 3 years behind Sarto), a new trial should be granted.

Additionally, it was also disclosed that Judge Hallock is the brother-in-law of former Trustee Bob Whitehouse. Folks may recall that Whitehouse resigned his Trustee position so that Humpfer could be appointed to that position after Humpfer lost the race for Village President in 2005 (and the Trustee seat to which he had been previously appointed was expiring at the end of that month). This action, which many considered to be a travesty, enabled him to remain on the Board for another 2 years — until he finally won an election in 2007, based on his support for the anti-illegal immigration ordinance.

Earlier this month, some members of the Village Board (all part of the same political group) said that Humpfer’s conviction of domestic battery did not cause him to forfeit his seat on the Board, and Humpfer has vowed not to resign. Humpfer also has been living out of state since his legal troubles began with an order of protection against him on June 25, 2007.

Since the conviction of Paul Humpfer on charges of domestic battery in March 2008, some have said that anyone who thinks Humpfer should resign or be removed from office for his crimes are doing nothing but “mud-slinging”.

So it raises the question, when does it cease to be mud-slinging?

After all, Paul Humpfer was found guilty of committing a very serious crime, which included him using a baseball bat in the commission of battery.

Is the statement I just made considered “mud-slinging”?

Or is it a statement of truth, seeking accountability for such actions?

Good morning, Carpentersville!

There is a meeting tonight at 7pm of the Planning and Zoning Committee.

Another chilly start to the day. Who would have thought that we’d still have the heat on at night in the middle of May?! The weather should be similar to yesterday, with more sun in the morning, then cloud rolling in later, but no rain expected.

Paul Humpfer is expected back in court today. He was to be sentenced in April after being found guilty of domestic battery on March 5, 2008. However, Judge James Hallock granted his attorney more time to read the court transcript, in order to prepare an appeal or get the Judge to reverse his ruling.

Yesterday, Linda Ramirez-Sliwinski was at a municipal hearing on a $75 ticket she received for disorderly conduct. The citation was issued after she allegedly told children climbing in a tree to “come down and stop acting like a bunch of monkeys”. The children happened to be black, and reportedly considered it a racial slur.

Ms. Sliwinski maintains that she did not intend it that way. It seems obvious that she was referring to their actions, not to the children themselves. Ms. Sliwinski and the neighbors have since reconciled the matter privately.

So, the deep problems in Carpentersville continue, as they gain national attention for again trying to squash free speech.  (Folks might remember when Trustee Judy Sigwalt tried to have President (Mayor) Bill Sarto censured for private emails he sent which mysteriously ended up in her hands.)

Carpentersville is now known nationally for so many things:  anti-illegal immigration fight, a meaningless “English-only” resolution, and now this.

Anyone wonder why businesses don’t want to come to town?  Who would want to advertise, directing people to “our Carpentersville location”?

On Thursday, May 15th, McDonald’s will be giving you free chicken all day long.

That’s right, you can eat free fried chicken for breakfast, lunch and dinner at McDonald’s as they offer you chicken on a biscuit for breakfast, and a southern style chicken sandwich for lunch and dinner.

So what’s the catch?

You have to purchase a medium or large drink.

For those wondering about the fat and calories … it will set you back 420 calories and 19 grams of fat for the sandwich (20 grams of fat for the biscuit).

Enjoy!

The court case began this morning involving Linda Ramirez-Sliwinski. Police issued a $75 citation in March for disorderly conduct after allegedly telling some neighbor kids playing in a tree to “stop playing in the tree like monkeys”. The complainant in the case, and the kids, are black and reported being “alarmed and disturbed” at the language used by Ms. Ramirez-Sliwinski; language alleged to be a racial epithet. Sliwinski and the neighbors have since reconciled the matter privately, but the citation is still being prosecuted by the Village.

Ramirez-Sliwinski has retained an attorney, Gabe Fuentes, from the Chicago law firm of Jenner & Block to represent her in the case. Fuentes informed judge Susan Clancy-Boles of his intent to file a Motion to Dismiss. The Judge set a May 28 due date for the Motion, and then the Village will have 30 days to respond.

A court date of July 23, 10am was set, and the judge will rule on the Motion at that time.

The Courier-News today takes on an issue that I’ve been raising here on the blog … that they have not been printing Speak-Outs and a majority of Letters.  Specifically, I’ve pointed out their failure to publish those critical of Paul Humpfer’s domestic battery conviction and the Board’s handling of it.

They make the claim that many Speak-Outs “are so convoluted, so incredibly dense that we cannot make heads nor tails out of what the caller is trying to say.

First of all, if, as a reader of the Courier-News who called in with a Speak-Out that was not published, I read this response from the paper, I’d be pretty offended.

In other words, if your Speak-Out didn’t get printed, it was likely because you were too stupid.

Here is one example of a Speak-Out that I was made aware of, which was not published …

One caller said he “didn’t understand how Humpfer could show his face in public after what he has been convicted of.”

Seems like it shouldn’t be too difficult to decipher that. Maybe it is staff at the Courier that are having difficulty. Or, maybe it is exactly as I said … they are not printing those comments which they disagree with.

Now, I’ve been accused of not posting comments I don’t agree with, but just a quick browse of this blog will show that to be false. Numerous comments exist on this site that are in opposition to things I say; whether critical of me, or others. I believe that the existence of those things is a testimony to the fact that this site is very fair and tries to have a discussion about the kind of corruption that exists in Village government. Some comments have been removed because they didn’t want to have that kind of discussion … but those that did have such a discussion, as is the purpose of this site, are still there for everyone to see.

Next, the Courier News says “Some callers then claim that we are only printing those with which we agree, but it has expedited the use of items.”

So, is that an admission that they “only print those with which they agree”? Are they cutting down on their backlog by “only printing those with which we agree?” I don’t know … maybe this is an example of the kind of “convoluted” statements that the Courier-News has a problem deciphering.

They also give an answer to a question about a news story that didn’t get timely publication in their paper:

It would be nice if just once someone could ask us a question without the assumption that we are all on the take or duplicitous.

Now, “it would be nice if just once someone could” respond to a question that was asked. The following question was asked of Courier Viewpoint Editor, Nick Petersen, about why Nate Spain’s letter was not published:

I was hoping that you might be able to provide additional information as to why the Courier News declined to publish the Letter to the Editor of Carpentersville’s Audit and Finance Commission member, Nate Spain.

Thank you in advance for the courtesy of a reply.

However, I did not receive “the courtesy of a reply”.

And, given the track record, there may be merit to the claims such as “on the take or duplicitous.”

Good morning, Carpentersville!

Looks like a gray start to the day, but the forecast is for the sun to peek out later, pushing temps to a high in the mid 60s. But, temps will drop to the mid-40s again over night. Is this really May? Gotta wonder where’s that global warming we’ve been hearing about…

I happened to be driving all over the area yesterday and saw the progress being made on “The Arboretum of South Barrington” and some new stores going up in Algonquin … more reasons why Carpentersville is losing any hope of ever becoming a “destination” city.

A new shopping center between Target and Wal-Mart is going to be anchored by JcPenney and Toys ‘R Us. A sign near the Algonquin Galleria boasts a new “Famous Dave’s” restaurant (what will happen to the location near Spring Hill Mall?) and there are rumors that a Sonic Drive-in could be coming to Algonquin as well.

With “The Arboretum” and other stores around Rt 59 and Rt 72, South Barrington and Hoffman Estates are getting their own versions of Algonquin Commons and that corridor along Randall Road.

Seeing all the development going on around the area, Carpentersville (and the Dundees) may end up fighting over the scraps… with residents being forced to give much of their dollars to surrounding towns.

The following letter was sent to the Daily Herald approximately 10 days ago.  Despite confirmation from Bill Sarto that the Daily Herald followed up with him to check if he was the author … they still have not published it.

Could this have anything to do with their obvious bias against Bill Sarto?  Or, is it something more — such as perhaps being part of a media arm of those standing behind Trustees Judy Sigwalt and Paul Humpfer?

Rumors are swirling that Judy Sigwalt is going to run for Village President in 2009. Could it be that the Daily Herald is already working on their endorsement — trying to make sure that if all the garbage she’s been involved with in the past several years isn’t prosecuted, that they will be able to endorse her because it wasn’t made known to a wider audience?

Here is Sarto’s letter to the editor:

This is in response to your Editorial of May 4, 2008.

First of all we need to correct some of the accusations that were made. The spending of public money to the tune of $20,000 that your paper claimed was spent by me to find legal support is false.  Worst, your newspaper knew it was false when they made that claim. You knew it was false because your newspaper had asked for and received from me that “bills list”. I had discussed those charges at an open Village board meeting and your staff reporter, Larissa Chinwah, was there during that discussion.

Those legal fees date back to 2005. The overwhelming reason for those expenditures were due to things initiated by Trustees Paul Humpfer and Judith Sigwalt. [Blog note: See "Do you like the taxes you pay..." for a break down of the tax dollars spent.] In large part, that money was due to the illegal immigration issue that had been raised by Humpfer and Sigwalt in Carpentersville in the fall of 2006. There were even some charges on that list initiated by a supporter of Humpfer and Sigwalt who lives in Harvard, IL. Why the taxpayers of Carpentersville were charged for that information is a real problem.

It has been nearly a year since Humpfer was charged with 4 counts of domestic battery. The fact that he was convicted of these charges 2 months ago is reason enough for outrage to be expressed that this person has shown no sign of remorse for what he has done and has been thumbing his nose at the law while continuing to take his seat on the Village board. This is unacceptable and should be an outrage to every decent person living in Carpentersville.

The fact that Humpfer was not charged with the appropriate “felony” charges are also worth looking at, but not now. Humpfer was found guilty of hitting his wife with a baseball bat.

The real question is why hasn’t the media applied more pressure for Humpfer to resign? Where is the outrage from the media? It’s been two months and finally today, not on the editorial page but instead in Amy Mack’s column the Daily Herald has gone on record to ask Humpfer to resign. If he doesn’t, then what will your newspaper do, go back to sleep for another two months? It’s incredible that this has dragged out for this long and there is still no sign that this will be resolved anytime soon. Isn’t it interesting how the media works? Senator and Presidential candidate Barack Obama has been widely criticized by the media for not acting immediately to denounce what his pastor had said during sermons over a span of 30 year and I’m criticized for acting too quickly to denounce the crimes of one of our trustees. The editorial board is putting me in the political cross hairs for acting too quickly and too forcefully in my denunciation of serious domestic abuse. The media can’t have it both ways. Once again I ask where is the media’s outrage against serious domestic violence?

So, why didn’t the Daily Herald print this?

Good morning, Carpentersville!

There is a Special joint meeting of the Village Board and the Planning & Zoning Commission tonight at 7pm in the Village Hall Board room. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct a Planning and Zoning Workshop.

It looks like today will be the nicest weather of the week, with temps expected to reach into the low 70s, and mostly sunny skies, until rain moves in tonight.

Since I mentioned the Courier-News not publishing various letters and speak-outs, I have been told of a dozen or more that have not been published.

Some of those same people have also said that the Daily Herald had not published some letters that were sent to them.

While the Courier-News and Daily Herald certainly do have the right to publish whatever they want in their respective papers, I believe people should know that they are not publishing the majority of items that don’t fit with their editorial agenda.

This information seems consistent with what has been observed in the last few months, since Trustee Humpfer was found guilty of domestic battery. After the conviction, I was copied on many emails from residents and others across the country. Only 1 was supportive of Paul Humpfer. (This was confirmed by at least one member of the Board.)

Since then, there have been numerous comments supportive of Paul Humpfer. However, they all come from the same small group of people. The Speak-outs likely come from those same people as well.

This is while the comments and letters of the rest of the community are ignored, inevitably serving to manipulate this situation to their advantage.

If any one else has called in a Speak-Out, or written a letter, that hasn’t been published, I would love to hear about it. Please either send me an email or leave a comment.
